Xoma Ltd

In 2004, CAT and Xoma (http://www.xoma.com) entered into a cross-licensing agreement for their antibody-related technologies.

Under the terms of the agreement, CAT and its collaborators received rights to use Xoma's antibody expression technology for the development of antibody therapeutics, in return for licence payments to Xoma and royalties on any products successfully developed. CAT granted Xoma a licence to its antibody libraries and ongoing expert support from the technology transfer team with an option to develop human monoclonal antibody therapeutics. CAT will receive royalty payments on sales of any antibody therapeutics that Xoma identifies using CAT's antibody libraries.
