Awards


In recognition of its achievement and innovation, MedImmune Cambridge (as Cambridge Antibody Technology) has received a number of awards, including:

  • May 2006, CAT ranked number 45 in the Financial Times list of the "Best Workplaces in the UK". CAT was the only UK biotechnology company listed in the top 50.
  • March 2006, CAT received the East of England business award for Business of the Year, 2005.
  • August 2005, Informa's Fourth Pharmaceutical Achievement Awards.  CAT, jointly with AstraZeneca, received the award for Business Development Deal of the Year.
  • August 2005, CAT maintained its FTSE4GOOD rating and continues its membership of the FTSE4GOOD Index Series.
  • 2004 Deloitte and Touche European Technology Fast 500. CAT achieved a ranking of 349.
  • 2003 Financial Times "Best Workplaces in the UK" survey. CAT achieved a ranking of 47.
  • 2003 techMARK awards.  CAT received the award for "Breakthrough of the Year."
  • 2003 Deloitte and Touche European Technology Fast 500. CAT achieved a ranking of 221 – the highest ranked UK company.
  • 2002 Deloitte and Touche European Technology Fast 500. CAT achieved a ranking of 138.
  • 2001 Deloitte and Touche European Technology Fast 500. CAT achieved a ranking of 58.
  • 2000 East of England Business Award for growth and expansion.
  • 1999 UK Design Council initiative to celebrate the best in UK innovation. CAT was a double winner for its antibody library and related technology.
  • 1999 East of England business award for innovation.
  • 1998 UK Prix Galien Research Award. The top award in pharmaceutical research for outstanding achievement in product and technology development. CAT was selected in recognition of its creativity in the development of novel human monoclonal antibody therapeutics.
